First off let me say, I received a copy of this book for an honest review. I previously read books one and two; Eternal Lovers and Eternal Nights and was more than happy to get this opportunity. Ms. Nelson didn’t fail my expectations – she delivered another amazing chapter in the Sekhmet’s Guardians adventures. Eternal Blades has become my favorite to date. Some traditional romance readers might find Ms. Nelson’s multi-plotted stories difficult to comprehend, but let me tell you, there is never a dull moment in her books! Where other stories fall apart in the middle, Ms. Nelson’s characters seem to take off on a new adventure. It’s kind of like watching an HBO or Showtime series… there is never a dull moment. Yes, there is still the same cast of lovable characters, and she’s added a few new ones. Jennifer (Eternal Lover’s heroine) stays true to her adventurous nature when she leads her sister Jessica (heroine, Eternal Nights) and Tshering Snow (heroine, Eternal Blades) into enemy territory. Her intentions are great… too bad her plans backfire and they end up in the hands of the Guardian’s enemy, Set’s Legions. Jennifer wakes up in the room with Gabriel’s evil twin, Bagsu… who we learn a lot more about. (I can’t wait to see what Ms. Nelson has in story for her readers when Bagsu takes center stage in book four.) Meanwhile, the other women of the estate along with new comer Katy join forces and look for ways to rescue their female friends. Of course, Gabriel, being who he is, is determined he will not having women involved in their age old war. I’ll let you read for your self and find out what the outcome of that is. Another character you get a much closer look at is Unab, a member of Set’s Legions. He is determined to dethrone Bagsu, but that too, isn’t as easy as he thinks. Like the other books in the series, there is a central romance and that romance is between Lance, computer geek who is also Gabriel’s younger brother and Tshering Snow who we met in book two, Eternal Nights. It’s a little difficult to have a romance blossom when one party is being help captive by your enemy but Ms. Nelson pulls it off rather nicely. If you love books with surprises every step of the way then I suggest you give Ms. Nelson’s Sekhmet’s Guardians a try; you won’t be sorry. The more she writes the better the stories develop and the plots thicken. If I could give Ms Nelson more stars than five, I would on this one. She’s outdone herself. Keep ‘em coming, Ms. Nelson!

Since I have read the previous two novels in this series I could not wait to read this one, it did not disappoint. There seems to be no real "couple" for this book as with the previous novels (although they usually had more than 1 couple) this was more of a moving forward with the story and adding a few more wrinkles that you can see coming and all of it looks to be exciting to say the least. While Lance and Tshering took a decent part of the main plot it was not the overwhelming point, we revisit most of the usual characters from the other books and throw in a couple of new things (I cannot wait to see who/what Michael is hooking up with)The action is woven in with romance and intrigue expertly and the multifaceted plot never leaves you with boring sections that must be scanned. I always love that you never get left with a cliffhanger but always left with a few unanswered questions for hooking you into the future novels. While not overwhelming popular (yet) these are 5 Star reading, perhaps a few editing mistakes along the way but nothing I would bother to mention other than one TSTL situation that I guess could not be avoided to make the plot work.Bottom Line: This is a 5 Star novel in a series that improves with each installment, highly recommended for PNR and UF enthusiasts. This is one of those rare series that has greatly exceeded my expectations.

I received a copy of this book, from the Author V.S. Nelson, in exchange for an honest review. The ReviewAfter reading Book 1, "Eternal Lovers"(Read Review HERE) and Book 2, "Eternal Nights"(Read Review HERE), I knew I was in for another amazing ride.  What I didn't know was how much more V.S. Nelson was going to draw me into her web called the Sekhment's Guardians Series!Tshering is one of the women that were rescued in "Eternal Nights". We discovered then, that she wasn't just your average human.  Now she's using her gifts to help the Guardians, alongside the other females in the compound.Lance has been so supportive, through everything.  Helping her learn to trust again and love again.  But the war between the Guardians and Set's Legions has come knocking on their back door, more like Jennifer and Gabriel's new yacht! They were lucky that time, but luck can't hold out forever, so the girls decide it's time for them to become part of the Sekhmet's army and fight alongside their men.  The men disagree. It then becomes a battle of the sexes.Throughout this series so far, there hasn't just been love and romance.  It's been an amazing adventure of Guardians vs Legions, brother vs brother and everything in between.  New discoveries of species, Jennifer and Jessica's past has been opened up to them and their bond as sisters has been strengthened.  All the women in the compound have found "sisters" within each other. Now it's up to them and the Guardians to save children that the legions members have been stealing from their mothers, to build a more loyal army. One of the rescued children is the spitting image of Lance.  He denies he's the father, while everyone else doubts his word and the proof they see before their eyes. Will Tshering stand by Lance and accept a child that might be his? Or will she decide his denial and lies are too much to handle? And IF the child isn't Lance's, then whose could it possibly be?My Final Thoughts: I wish I could tell you all the secrets these books hold within them, but to do so would spoil it for others.  This book ESPECIALLY is bringing to light, more and more things we only got a taste of in the other 2 books.V.S. Nelson might have us believing that each story is about one couple, when it's about ALL of them.  The characters we fell in love with and grew with are still major players.  In fact, we are learning quite quickly, V.S. Nelson believes in and practices the wise old saying..."There are strength in numbers".  She's bringing us strong women, Alpha males, new species, new gifts and new challenges. You'd think there would be an overload at one point in the story, but as a spider does to a web, V.S. Nelson does to her web of tales. Precision weaving. Drawing us in completely."Step into my story, said the author to her readers.Open up my 5 Star books and read of my great leaders.Read about my alpha men and their amazing mates.Read about their loves and adventures, set in motion by the fates."I love this unique and action packed series.  There is never a dull moment and I can't wait to read more of these amazing characters, their romances and their continuous fight to beat the odds in a war that has been ongoing for several years.~Robin Malone - Book Reads and Reviews

Eternal Blades is an intense story from the very beginning with lots of action scenes and various sub-plots being juggled. This makes for a fast-paced story that is sometimes hard to get into and hard to keep up with but always entertaining. For those, like myself, who haven't read the previous books in the series you need not be deterred from picking this up as the author does a nice job up bringing past story elements into this story and then expanding upon them. From its battle of the sexes to its endearing hero and intriguing villains with surprising depths this was a thrilling and dramatically sweeping story that deserves recognition.Lance is seen as the playboy of the group but the reality couldn't be further from the truth. He's been waiting for just the right woman, the woman to completely change him. I found him endearing and his reasons for holding out for just the right woman touching. He might not have taken over the story as other heroes do but I still found myself drawn to him. The woman who sets Lance's world on end is Tshering and she immediately bonds with the other women involved with Guardians, much to the chagrin of the Guardians. They don't like feeling helpless and want to learn to fight alongside their men which is unheard of and leads to a battle between the sexes. Before long she and the other heroines are in jeopardy amongst the enemy which shows us surprising sides to the villains we once thought we understood. These villains are becoming more multifaceted and more intriguing and I look forward to the ramifications of their evolution. The romance was well-done though I wish more time had been devoted to Lance and Tshering. Their scenes together are fun, full of sexual tension and showed Lance to be the ultimate romantic hero. The rest of the story moved at an exciting pace with lots of twists and turns that have me excited for the next installment and recommending these books to fans of the paranormal and sweeping dramatic storytelling.

This book was Incredible! The best so far! V.S. Nelson blows us away in this one with the battles, the lovers and the host of new and old characters as they face off with Set's army. I couldn't stop turning the pages as it one seemed to hold a new adventure and a new intrigue.Tshering and Lances story was beautifully done. I loved the romance and the prophecy of it all. I really Liked how it lead to the new team and I can't wait to see what more comes out of it. We also get to meet the Goddess Sekhmet in the one the creator of the Guardians force which I thought was totally awesome! The bad guys were great in this one as well, did things that defiantly made your stomach sick. They were crafty, but as bad guys are always looking for more and more power even among themselves they couldn't stop fighting each other long enough to keep the good guys from kicking their butts! always amuses me to see the bad guys do this when really its there own fault if they fought as a team like good guys do they wouldn't have that problem, but then they wouldn't be bad guys then would they...lolV.S. Nelson has outdone herself with this series and commend her for it! she is obviously incredibly talented and amazingly creative to hold this many characters through so many adventures and stories and not have it fall apart in any way. This story and this series is truly amazing! and I can't wait to read the next one.

Eternal Blades is an interesting story with a lot going on:The Ancient Guardian Lance has the false reputation as a playboy. Little do his friends and family know that he has been saving himself for his future prophesied life mate, Tshering Snow. After being accused of fathering a child, Lance proclaims it’s impossible because he is a virgin. Problem is his brother Gabriel and Tshering do not believe him.The women are attached by Set’s Legions and want to learn to defend themselves and help fight with the Guardians. The men not wanting the women to fight, think they are just humoring them by allowing them to train. This sub story is quite entertaining as the men and women try to out-maneuver each other. V.S. Nelson did an excellent job recapping the preceding novels. That is something I appreciate with as many books that I read because sometimes it takes me a while to remember what happened in the prior novel. Especially when the next book to the series doesn’t come out for six months to a year.Eternal Blades is an exciting book with many subplots. The character development is well done making the story all the more interesting. This book definitely gets harder to put down the longer you read it. ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.

Tshering one of the women that were captured in the second book, is falling in love with Lance, the brother of Gabriel. Lance known as a playboy finds himself falling just as fast. Lance is trying to hold true to a prophecy he received as a child without telling anyone about it. The women involved with the Guardians want to learn how to fight. They want the same training as the men. Gabriel tries to appease them yet at the same time make them want to give up the idea. He soon learns the error of his ways. The war with Set's vampires is heating up and they are turning on each other. Like the first two books in the series you can read them as a stand alone. The author does a wonderful job of catching you up. This book like the second has a good bit of humor in it. you find yourself laughing at loud at times. You still have the same great cast of characters in this one. You do learn more about Set's vampires in this one. it really fills you in on what is going on with the bad guys. A few new characters are introduced which they fit right into the story line. Every page brings a new surprise, new twists and turns. Great for lovers of para-normal and romance

Wow another home run for Ms. Nelson! This is the story I’ve been waiting for. Yummy Lance’s hookup with Tshering Snow, a character we me in Eternal Nights. Like all the books in this wonderful series, Eternal Blades could be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend you read the first two books Eternal Lovers and Eternal Nights prior to reading Eternal Blades. You’ll get so much more out of them.True to MS, Nelson's style, this book entices us with several subplots. You’d think one might find it difficult to follow, the multitude of stories, but nothing could be farther from the truth. The storyline, even with the subplots is extremely fluid. It grabs you and takes you on an amazing journey of mystery, intrigue, and deception… intermixed with an unforgettable love story. And for the first time, we get a tiny glimpse into the land in which the Guardian’s came from, New Tuat. The gang is all back and Ms. Nelson has added some new characters just to spice things up. Along with some intriguing bumps in the road, almost all of the characters have major decisions to make and some of the outcomes are more than surprising.

After reading both Eternal Lovers & Eternal Nights, I knew VS Nelson would bring it once again with Eternal Blades! Loving every scene, the characters, the romance... The lure Lance has on you is too hard to resist. I found myself half way through before I knew it, up wee hours of the night reading... There's just no getting enough of Lance... ::sigh::Never expecting to fall in love, Tshering lacks the confidence when she finds herself deeply in love with playboy, Lance. The attraction and chemistry between them cannot be ignored. There's no denying it, they are meant to be with each other... Though the obstacles the two must overcome will leave you with doubt. The question you'll ask yourself, "Will Tshering and Lance come together in the end?"I wanted nothing more than to rise and fall with the characters emotions, scream and shout when things didn't go my way, and yet it was great! I loved it!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.Since I have read the first 2 books in the series, I was expecting this book to be great. The author, V.S. Nelson, did not disappoint. This book follows the story of Lance and Tshering, and the struggles they had to overcome. Since Lance has a reputation as a rogue and a playboy, can Tshering overlook his past? Can Lance settle down with just one woman? And what is this prophecy that is mentioned? Can the love they share overcome the obstacles that are thrown in their paths? All these questions and more will be answered in Eternal Blades.

This is the third book in this amazing series! I don't know how, but Virginia has outdone herself again! In this amazing book, we learn the truth about Lance's lovelife, watch as he finds his lifemate, and meet the goddess they all follow. Not to mention the action taking place in the background as the women try to find their place in fighting the war against Set, while their lovers try to keep them home! Doublecross, triplecross, the women saving themselves! Family dynamics! New twins! WOW! A page turner that I was unable to stop reading until I finished it! Drawn in and held onto throughout the book! Where is book 4????I bought a signed paperback from the author! Love it!!!

V S Nelson writes a story with a good blend of paranormal and urban fantasy. Third in the series, this story is about Lance, a man with a playboy rep, and Tshering Snow who seems to me his fated mate and has a secret. There are great love scenes, and a lot of action. Lance also finds himself accused of fathering a little boy who looks just like him. I enjoyed this book and I think V S will be telling great tales for a long time.I was given an arc of this story for an honest review.
