This story gives a rare inside view of North Korea from the eyes of a child. The list of names in the back of the book is haunting. Great read!

All of the books √The few books I have read of yours I could not put them down. Your descriptions & the people, from North Korea, you have written about are so desperate & yet so very strong in their faith. I don't think most of the people, except our homeless people, in this country could handle the hardships that these people go thru on a daily basis. I know that I most likely would nor could not be able to If any of you looking for a really down to earth, with some history, companionate & strong characters this definitely is a great book to read.So I say Thank You for writing this book & all of the others. I'm sure I have not read all of you books, the ones I have read tug at my heart. They have made me cry, cheer on, angry & want to help them.
